Second release on Bagpak for NY's Charles Noel aka Arch_typ. Just like 'Do It', the first tune on this EP features Ahmad Larnes on vocals. The result is 21st century soul on top of beats and sounds from another world. The track returns for an instrumental version and twice more in Yellowtail remixes. Mister Hiro brings the track to the dancefloor in his known style. Not bad, although maybe this tune is missing a catchy hook or something - I can't quite put my finger on it ..

Second tune is 'I Wanna Be With You ft. Sarah White', percussive house that reminds me of a certain Theo Parrish. There's also a dub version of this track. And finally there's 'Slide Technique', a great downtempo excursion that exposes the subtle similarities between Arch_typ's sound and the work of Flying Lotus, Take and Hudson Mohawke for example.

It's a certainly a good EP, although without the hooks, so maybe not that easy to get into ...
